Targeted Speech and Language Therapy Provision

I can provide direct therapy for children and young people with SALT in their EHCP but who are not currently receiving adequate provision. Therapy is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and practical — ensuring children’s needs are met in a way that is meaningful and sustainable. Sessions can be delivered in schools, early years settings, or within the community.

EHCP Contribution and Statutory Assessments

I offer robust, detailed assessments and reports for EHCP applications, and annual reviews. Reports include clear recommendations for provision, strategies that schools can implement, and outcome-focused targets aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. 

Bridging The GAP

I can provide flexible, timely support where children are waiting for NHS assessments or therapy input. By bridging the gap, I ensure there is no delay in intervention — helping children progress and reducing the risk of unmet need escalating.

Supporting Children Out of School

Many children are unable to access education due to anxiety, health needs, or other challenges or may have elected to be home educated. I can provide assessments, therapy, and parent coaching for these learners in their home environment, and where relevant, ensure their EHCP outcomes are still met and that they remain supported while out of school.

Early Identification and Screening

Whole-class or setting-based screening can be commissioned to identify children with SLCN early, ensuring no child is missed. This can reduce the long-term costs associated with late intervention.

Goal Setting and Outcome Tracking

I can support schools and SENCOs to develop clear, measurable speech, language and communication targets that integrate into EHCPs and IEPs. I can also provide outcome measures and end-of-year impact reports, giving LAs the data they need to demonstrate value for money and accountability.

Flexible Provision Tailored to LA Needs

I understand every authority has different pressures and priorities. That’s why I offer flexible commissioning options:

  • Full-day or half-day blocks
  • Ad-hoc assessment and reports
  • Short-term contracts (e.g. termly) or longer provision
  • Focused delivery on EHCP requirements
  • Specialist packages for complex needs, AAC, or post-diagnostic support


This flexibility ensures LAs can buy the provision they need, when they need it, without being tied into restrictive models.

Supporting Inclusive Practice In Schools

Beyond individual therapy, I also work to embed sustainable, communication-friendly and neurodiversity affirming approaches across schools and early years settings. This includes training, consultation, and collaborative planning with SENCOs and staff — ensuring impact continues beyond direct sessions.
